PTFE Bellows
PTFE bellows are used where the chemical properties of other materials are not sufficient. They have applications in the (petro)chemical industry for the absorption of expansion and/or vibrations and as flexible connections in PTFE and glass-lined piping systems.
Advantages with the use of PTFE bellows:

Resistant to chemicals with the exception of fluorine compounds, halogens and liquid alkali metals.

The PTFE is collared at the flanges so the metal flanges do not come into contact with the medium.
■
Useable from -70 to +240 °C.
■
With a metal jacket also suitable for high pressures at high temperatures
■
Insensitive to many movements, material does not so quickly fatigue.
■
Designed as standard with tie rods.
